How were you discovered? I was discovered on Vine by a photographer named Darryl Brown. I flew to New York to visit my Auntie Lisa and happened to make time to shoot with Darryl. From that point I was scouted on instagram by my agent Sam at Next Models New York. I’ve been on the fashion journey ever sense.

What is one thing that has surprised you about modeling? I haven’t had anything surprising happen to me yet. When you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.

Clearly you workout — what is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why? The muscle group I make sure I always hit is definitely my core, and core is more than just abs. I believe the core is the foundation of a strong, healthy body. Just like with a building, or really anything in life, if the foundation isn’t strong then neither is the house.

What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model? Well, I’m a little more muscular and you have to be slim to fit sample clothing. Most people have to maintain their size through diet, I on the other hand, have to pay attention to how I work out.

How do you stay motivated? My friends and family really keep me motivated. Whenever I talk to them they always stress how much they support me and are proud of me, even in the times when I’m feeling down and being hard on myself. So my support system really keeps me motivated and they are always there for me.

How were you discovered? Funny Story, I was actually contacted by a photographer (Trevor Flores), while I was playing college basketball and he encouraged me to look into it, so after the season, I sent in Digitals to the only modeling agency I had even heard of at the time, and got sent a contract about 2 weeks later.
What is one thing that has surprised you about modeling? The thing that surprised me about modeling is how hard it actually is, to be able to evoke certain moods and expressions depending on what the creative leader is going for, is not as easy as it looks, it’s actually takes a bit of practice.
Clearly you workout — what is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why?  For me and maintaining my appearance, it’s more about a consistent diet than hardcore working out, but definitely running is a way that I like to stay in shape and keep my heart rate up.
What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model? The biggest difficulty when it comes to modeling is in all honesty the lifestyle. In the sense that you’re getting paid for your appearance, it’s very easy to allow that to affect who you are more than it should. Being attractive is a blessing, but I’ve always believed in us offering more as a human being. It’s a goal of mine to continue to make my life less about me and more about positively impacting others regardless of my success.
How do you stay motivated? I feel like, I’ve been given such a unique opportunity to have influence and affect people everyday lives positively. I’m from Louisiana, so this is not a typical career path for someone of my background, so I definitely want to make the most of it. But also, my relationship with God motivates me as well. I want to be a good human, offering positively and encouragement to anyone I come in contact with in this industry, whether that be at a casting or on set, you’d be surprised how much a smile and caring conversation can change someone’s day, which in turn changes your life.

Clearly you workout — what is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why? Clearly you workout — What is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why? When I goto the gym Ido whole body workouts most the time. but the first thing I hit when I get there are my abs. Ab workouts are my favorite.
What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model? What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model? Not really too much, working on poses though to get better with them.
How do you stay motivated? How do you stay motivated? I keep a very optimistic mindset.

How were you discovered? Dorothy Shi who is a family friend photographer took some shots and sent it out to some agencies.
What is one thing that has surprised you about modeling? One thing that surprised me is how much I enjoy it, I didn’t expect me to like it as much as I do now.
Clearly you work out — what is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why? Honestly, I don’t like going to the gym I don’t mind it but I rather do just calisthenics push ups pull ups sit ups I would say my favorite is push-ups always leaves a good pump.
What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model?  Biggest challenge for me is to just be comfortable in doing anything that asks of me without me thinking of how stupid or weird I look.
How do you stay motivated? What keeps me motivated is just the thought of being successful who doesn’t want to succeed in what they do.

How were you discovered?  Through my current mother agent (@jhendi), saw potential through Instagram. Met with him summer 17’ & officially moved to NYC  December 17.
What is one thing that has surprised you about modeling? One thing that surprised me about modeling is how quick it can change up one second you can be having 5 castings in nyc then the next getting ready to go to Paris or London.

Clearly you work out — what is your go-to session or muscle group you hit at the gym? Why? My go-to session is called “Around the world”.

Which consists of sets of pushups for pecs & Triceps, Leg ups for core & then Dips for another chest workout. #MyTip for after workout is having a reset at “the Juicy Box Bar” AKA protein shake for recovery.

What has been the biggest challenge for you to overcome since becoming a model? The biggest challenge has been adapting to the surroundings around me being exposed to so many different people you have to be able to adapt which I’m learning myself.

How do you stay motivated? Staying motivated is the easiest thing because the only reason I came to New York besides the fact of always wanting to be here is to take on modeling and to start my own business if I need motivation I just think of life back home.
