Interiors: Fifty Shades Darker

When the Producers of Fifty Shades Darker, the anticipated sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, needed to furnish the sets that would come to represent Christian Grey’s luxe home, they turned to Boca do Lobo. Literally translated as mouth of the wolf, Boca do Lobo is an exclusive Portuguese manufacturer of stunning modern pieces that was excited by the challenge.

The brand combines the latest technology and styles with traditional artisanal craftsmanship to create timeless art objects that are wonderfully functional, like the stunning Lapiaz center table that has a matte black finish on the exterior with ‘cracks’ that reveal a polished golden interior.

Directed by James Foley, Fifty Shades Darker is a moody and atmospheric drama with a sleek aesthetic perfectly complemented by the glamorous pieces introduced by Boca do Lobo. Their custom design studio fully embraced Grey’s character and created a look that suited his tastes while fascinating viewers of the silver screen. Fifty Shades Darker is now in theaters.
